THE SANTITOS (LITTLE SAINTS). PORTEZUELO

At dawn on the 20 January, bagpipes and drums awaken the town with the Alborá. Two men accompany the drummer, who goes from house to house asking for alms for the blessed Saints. The Mass and the procession then take place. The Saints (Saint Sebastian and Saint Fabian) pass through each and every one of the houses in Portezuelo. The two carvings of the Holy Martyrs enter all the houses.
