    The Cancho Roano archaeological site is 10 km from the municipality of Zalamea de la Serena, in the province of Badajoz. Cancho Roano was in use between the 7th and 4th centuries BC and has been a National Monument since 1986. At the interpretation centre you can find excellent multimedia displays that explain the site's peculiarities. There is also a large scale model that offers details on the different parts of this unique place.
