In Mérida, we find this cultural and leisure space that mixes, both in its structure and in its essence, the past of this city with its most modern present
Mérida has the Alcazaba cultural centre, a multi-disciplinary space that is divided up over four floors and holds the “Juan Pablo Forner” town library, the historical archives of the town and several offices of the Mérida town council.
It also has an auditorium, where conferences, theatre and dance shows, and also musical performances and film screenings take place. And all of this is perfectly integrated against the backdrop of the Roman ruins on the ground floor. -
