The peculiar structure of this bullring bears witness to its historic past, which has led to its declaration as an Asset of Cultural Interest.
Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest,the Cáceres bullring, also known as Era de los Mártires, was inaugurated on 6th August 1846. The arena is 45 metres in diameter and has a capacity for 8,000 people, with seats distributed over three storeys. Its original walls are still preserved today, along with the peculiarly steep, narrow stands.
