In the Cáceres town of Acebo, there are two natural swimming pools alongside a recreation area.
In the Ribera de Acebo river in the heart of the Sierra de Gata hills, we find the gorge that forms one of the best-known and prettiest pools in Cáceres, the Carreciá pool, in the municipality of Acebo.
One of the main attractions of this place is the opportunity to do sport and be able to have a swim in its cool, crystal-clear waters, besides spending a relaxing day with the family, enjoying a meal in the middle of an exceptional nature spot.
You can get here walking or by car - as there is also a car park. You will find it two kilometres from the town centre of Acebo, surrounded by greenery. -
