From the 15th and 16th centuries in the monumental city of Cáceres you will find an unusual building with a mixture of Gothic and Renaissance elements.
This building from the 15th and 16th centuries is one of the most emblematic in the old town of Cáceres. The architecture of the palace includes elements proper to both the Renaissance and Gothic periods. Access to the interior is gained through a dressed granite doorway above which you will see the Carvajal coat of arms, framed in an alfiz. The prominent features of the façade are the corner balcony and the round tower which stands next to it.
Inside there is a rectangular courtyard with arches on columns, a magnificent garden and several works of art which deserve your attention, such as a mid-16th century tapestry with the mark of the city of Tournai. -
