Situated a few kilometres from the town of Alcuéscar, we find this building that stands out because of its unique architectural features
At the Interpretation Centre you can see the Roman remains and pagan elements that have been discovered in the area. And you can visit the basilica, which was built between the 7th and 8th centuries and restored at the end of the 1980s. You can see its wonderful original structure, with three chapels that are all the same. It is a relatively small building, but represents a magnificent example of Spanish religious Visigothic architecture.
