Carnaval of souls’ interpretation room (Villar del Pedroso)

The center consists of a single room of about 35 square meters which houses interpretation equipments and displays that allow an approach to the origin, essence and development of the Carnival of Souls, held in the town of Villar del Pedroso.

A multimedia device shows pictures of different moments of the carnival that reflect the variety of festivities that compound the celebration.

You can find two separate audiovisual. In the first, the citizens of Villar del Pedroso talk about the most exciting moments of the carnival, their origin and the development of the entire week of celebration. The second reflects the artistic side of this carnival with its formal expressions, colors, sounds, etc.

In a central module, replicas of the three most representative elements of this carnival can be found: A bouquet, a crown and a tambourine.

However, the main attraction of the center is in a great showcase in which five mannequins carrying five traditional outfits that dates several centuries ago.
