The Cancho Roano archaeological site is 7 km from the municipality of Zalamea de la Serena, in the province of Badajoz. Cancho Roano was in use between the 7th and 4th centuries BC and has been a National Monument since 1986. At the interpretation centre you can find excellent multimedia displays that explain the site's peculiarities. There is also a large scale model that offers details on the different parts of this unique place.
