Come along the path that brings you to this spot and relax to the murmur of the waterfall.
In the heart of Las Hurdes massif we find Nuñomoral, a municipality that belongs to El Gasco. On the outskirts of this farmstead there is marvel of nature – the Chorro de la Meancera.
It is a waterfall flowing over several steps of rock, with a 100-metre drop. It is truly amazing. To get here you can follow the Chorro de la Meancera route that leaves Plaza de El Gasco square, and reaches the waterfall after 3 km, on an easy path. When you get to the waterfall you can walk to the bottom if you follow the same path through a small gorge formed by the Meancera stream.
If possible, come during the months when it rains because there is more water flowing and the waterfall is even more beautiful.
