The sober, robust appearance of this religious building reveals the typical Franciscan character.
Known as the monastery or convent of Loriana, this building is located in the municipality of Mérida, although it is outside the town. It stands out for its sobriety and simplicity, typical of Franciscan establishments. It is structured around a cloister with a double-level arcade and a well in the centre. Outside it you can see a solid quadrangular structure similar to a military tower, some remains of which are preserved.
