The Tagus plays a fundamental role in the landscape of this geological area of Monfragüe, the story of which is told here.
This interpretation centre provides a different and attractive way of getting to know the different aspects of the geological history of Monfragüe. Its geomorphology has given rise to several rich eco-systems adapted to the orography of the terrain, where water plays a fundamental role, as is shown by the cuts that have been generated by the passage of the Tagus river and which have created the spectacular landscape that you can enjoy in this amazing place.
