One of the most important specimens in Extremadura, aged over 700 years
Near Valdefuentes, in El Juncoso, we find this holm-oak, one of the most outstanding specimens of its kind in Extremadura. And this is not only because of its great size, but also its longevity, as it is reckoned to be over 700 years old; as well as the large amount of acorns it produces- more than a thousand kilos some years.
