The week of the 24 June the ancient city of Coria in Caceres hosts the "Sanjuanes", a bull run festivity.
If its thrills you're after, don't miss out on a chance to experience this eminently bullfighting fiesta first hand. The fact is that in the afternoon of San Juan, the intrepid dare to confront the horned beasts in the town hall square, the same animals that will run freely around the streets of the town after the wall gates have been closed.
Two hours later, the bull enters the square where the fiesta within town walls will begin and locals will await the next bull, who, among shadows, will appear in the early morning.
