On the right bank of the Guadiana river, at the far end of the Orellana Reservoir, lies Calicanto Beach, with Blue Flag. This man-made beach is a great place for a refreshing swim, offering plenty of shade, a grassy area, an outdoor café and a large car park. Nearby, there is a eucalyptus forest that provides lots of shade on hot summer days.
There are toilets and showers to make your family outing as comfortable as possible, allowing you to enjoy a fabulous day out at this unique beauty spot in Casas de Don Pedro, Cáceres province. -
