Architectural monument classified as a Cultural Heritage Site. The simple but attractive exterior and the richness of the interior make this an obligatory visit.
This Gothic and Renaissance style church stands in the municipality of Torrejoncillo. Construction began in the 16th century but it was not finished until the 19th century.
It is a traditionally shaped building with a nave divided into three sections. The main façade is simple, the only ornament being the sculpture of Saint Andrew. At the sides there are twin towers in the Baroque style which serve as bell tower and clock.
The interior is spacious, with a polygonal apse, a nave in three sections and two chapels. Items of note are the Baroque style altarpiece, a niche and some Juan Rivera frescos, as well as a sculpted stone choir, which rises elegantly at the back of the church. -
