    The Puerto Peña reservoir provides you with the possibility not only of enjoying a pleasant summer's day, but also of spending your holidays discovering the multiple attractions of this enclave in Badajoz.

    Also known as García Sola, the Puerto Peña reservoir is located in the Badajoz town of Talarubias and forms part of the so-called Badajoz Plan, and has a hydro-electric plant at the dam.

    Nonetheless, the main attraction of this reservoir is the fact that it is a magnificent area for swimming, with Blue Flag, and it is also good for water sports, such as canoeing, and sailing yachts and motorboats. You can also enjoy a pleasant time due to the existence of bars and restaurants in the area.
