Fuente de Cantos recovers its pilgrim spirit on 15 May to celebrate San Isidro Labrador.
Bedecked floats decorate the pilgrims' path to the patron saint's shrine in the country, where a pilgrim mass is said and fervently sung by the brotherhood created in his honour. The popular sentiment emanating from the gathering never fails to leave its mark on all those who have been on the pilgrimage.
After mass, those present accompany the image of San Isidro in procession to the shrine. A day in the country full of beauty to be enjoyed by all five senses. -
