One of the biggest events held in Extremadura is the WOMAD festival, which Cáceres hosts every spring, where music and game activities abound for young and old alike. This festival brings together artistes from different countries who introduce us to their different cultures through music. It attracts thousands of people every year to the historic centre of Cáceres.
