Extremadura is committed to business, development and the sustainable economy; and hosting trade and business fairs is a very important part of its positioning as a privileged business tourism destination.
At Badajoz's IFEBA site, you can successfully hold your event or trade fair, thanks to the new installations and unbeatable location. Very close to the border with Portugal, facilitating cross-border commerce. It has all kinds of installations which can be adapted to different uses, such as auditoriums, press rooms, VIP rooms, restaurants… If offers the most advanced technological resources in its more than 10,000m2 of covered surface area and 20,000 uncovered surface area, enabling it to house several events simultaneously.
In Don Benito (Badajoz), you will find FEVAL, a consortium with 35 years of experience in the organisation of commercial events and other activities related to commerce and business promotion. It has modern installations with 22,000 m² of covered pavilions, 2.000 m² of service modules and a further 20,000 m² of indoor exhibition surface, equipped with the latest technology and a broad-reaching, modern service infrastructure.
The exhibition range has been increased with a 10,000-metre multi-purpose building2, containing a Technology Centre, which is also the backbone of all the installations, providing a space for exhibitors and visitors where they will find the most modern technologies at the service of commercial and business activity.
Also in the province of Badajoz, but in Mérida, there is the Instituto Ferial de Mérida (IFEME). It was designed and equipped to hold both business fairs and cultural activities (concerts, exhibitions, etc.). This site is singular indeed, as part of it is made from some old industrial units that have been converted into exhibition pavilions and technical areas, whilst another part of the building is newly built. It has a total of 21,000 m2 of usable surface area. The exhibition area is divided into three interior pavilions.
