The LSSI (Ley de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información y Comercio Electrónico), states the following in its fifth additional provision:
One. Public Administrations shall take the necessary measures to ensure that the information available on their Internet pages can be accessible to the handicapped and to the elderly in accordance with generally accepted content accessibility criteria prior to 31 December 2005.
One of the objects of the www.turismoextremadura.com portal is to guarantee access to information and services on its web pages without any limitation or restriction owing to any kind of handicap or to technical conditions, taking into account that many people who access the information included on the web pages do so from different devices and contexts.
For that purpose, our accessibility guidelines are as follows:
- Compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), level AA.
- Verification of compliance with the guidelines stated in the Web Accessibility Test.
- The presentation is based on the W3C Recommendation on Cascading Style Sheets, Level 2 (CSS2). If your browser does not support cascading style sheets, you will still be able to browse the website without difficulty.
- The standard recommended in the use of the XHTML code has been used, verifying the XHTML 1.0 Transitional recommendations, so that it will be correctly displayed in any browser which correctly supports the aforementioned standard.
Naturally, we are aware that this portal's accessibility can be improved, and we make all efforts to do so. If you have any comments or suggestions you believe might be useful, kindly let us know.
