  • Located in the province of Cáceres, the Brozas Castle still maintains the regal appearance that led it to be declared a Spanish cultural heritage site.

Known as "the palace", Brozas Castle dates back to the 14th century, although it has subsequently undergone several remodellings, such as those undertaken in the 16th and 17th century.

This fortress is located in the Cáceres town of Brozas, and helped its inhabitants to overcome a Lusitanian attack in the past. An event that led to sloped outer walls, which you can see today, being built centuries later.

Currently this castle is private property, although there is free admission to the outside of this fortress, which is a Spanish cultural heritage site.
