In the municipality of Brozas, in Cáceres province, you can find Casa de los Argüello Carvajal, which dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries. This stately home has two large façades joined by a chamfer and built in plastered masonry. The main doorway takes up nearly the whole of the chamfer and is adorned with the noble family coat of arms at the top. A parade ground is a notable feature of the inside.
