5,600 spectators can enjoy bullfighting festivals in this beautiful bullring.
This bullring is over one-and-a-half centuries old, as it was inaugurated in 1868. It was Queen Isabel II herself who signed the Royal Order for its construction in 1857. Restructuring work has been carried out on it subsequently, including the sanded arena, the new bullpens or the marble stand numbers. Its present capacity is 5,600.
The Olivenza bullring is famous as the traditional venue for the start of the bullfighting season in Spain, in the month of March.
